Offering Two Library Themes: Color Our World & Level Up
"Color Our World with Animals" is a summer reading adventure where participants explore how animals bring color, life, and diversity to our planet. This program promotes literacy, creativity, and an appreciation for nature’s colors and creatures while tying in the theme of diversity and conservation.
”Level Up” combines the thrill of gaming with the wonder of the animal kingdom to create an unforgettable adventure for readers of all ages. Join us as we transform the library into a vibrant, interactive hub where books become portals to new worlds and challenges. From uncovering animal heroes in epic tales and video games to discovering new species like in the card game Pokemon, you'll "level up" your love for reading while exploring the connections between storytelling, gaming, and the natural world.
Six animal ambassadors will visit your library for a 40-45 minute exciting, interactive and educational presentation. We discuss animals adaptations, history, geography, and cool facts about each animal while encouraging kids and adults to pick up a book and read about each of these amazing animals.
All we require from the library are two tables (we can provide tables if needed) and access to electricity. We provide the PA system, backdrop, etc. If electricity is not available we have battery powered PA systems.
