This summer, dig into adventure with Wildlife Encounters’ Unearth a Story library presentations! While dinosaurs may no longer roam the earth, many of today’s creatures share fascinating connections to prehistoric times. From reptiles whose ancestors walked alongside dinosaurs to birds that are living reminders of the age of giants, our live animal ambassadors help kids bridge the past with the present.

Our engaging, interactive program combines fun animal encounters with inspiring stories that encourage children to keep reading, learning, and imagining. Kids will meet amazing animals up close, discover the surprising ways they’re linked to prehistoric life, and be inspired to explore books about dinosaurs, fossils, and wildlife.

Perfectly aligned with the Collaborative Summer Library Program’s 2025 theme, “Unearth a Story,” this unique experience is designed to spark curiosity, promote literacy, and create memories that last long after summer.

Invite Wildlife Encounters to your library and give your readers a chance to unearth the wild side of history!

Six animal ambassadors will visit your library for a 40-45 minute exciting, interactive and educational presentation. We discuss animals adaptations, history, geography, and cool facts about each animal while encouraging kids and adults to pick up a book and read about each of these amazing animals.

All we require from the library are two tables (we can provide tables if needed) and access to electricity. We provide the PA system, backdrop, etc. If electricity is not available we have battery powered PA systems.

If you have any questions feel free to email or call. Thank you!
